No Ordinary Girl Pruitt's first album, No Ordinary Girl was released on February 6, 2007. It debuted and peaked at number 64 on the Billboard 200 with 14,000 copies sold in its first week of release. Her debut single, "Outside Looking In", was featured in the Disney Channel Original Movie Read It and Weep; it also appeared on the compilation album Girl Next. She covered Sister Sledge's 1979 hit "We Are Family" for the 2006 film Air Buddies. Her follow-up single, "Jump to the Rhythm", was featured in the Disney Channel film Jump In! and based on composer Frank Fitzpatrick's theme for the film. 
Permission to Fly Pruitt's second album, Permission to Fly, was initially released at formerly-known Limited Too stores on July 22, 2008, then to Amazon.com on August 26, 2008."One Love" was the first single from the album. The track "My Shoes" was the second.
Tours Pruitt was a singer on the Radio Disney Incubator tour, a great guest opening act on The Cheetah Girls' The Party's Just Begun Tour and the opening act for High School Musical: The Concert. She has toured with the Jonas Brothers, Raven-Symoné, Drake Bell, and Corbin Bleu. Pruitt also went on tour with the band KSM, as part of The Tour of Gymnastics Superstars. She is also the opening act for Demi Lovato's summer tour.
